Joey Review

Joey,
The market that you've discovered is growing extremely quickly and holds enormous value.  Right now you've managed to organize a pretty good crossection of the music discovery market.  But, I would like to see some more focus on your website, rather than giving away so many easy referrals.  Something like a frame, that allows the user to browse your links, while you still have links back to your website and a couple of ads at the top would be optimal.

- A way to differentiate yourself might be to focus on a certain niche in the music industry.  For example, "indie" music is still quite popular, but receives considerably less attention in the media and on the web.

- If you want to avoid developing an expensive and difficult to create algorithm you could try using a community based system where other users recommend new music to each other.  I want to see something more than just a collection of links and information.  Can you make the user experience for your site more interesting?

Google has a new feature or at least new to me, that allows searches for musical artists to return information, integrating a search into your website could be a good way to generate revenue.

I would like to see some more specific advertising; for example, having links to Amazon.com where you can purchase the item that you are looking at.  Obviously they would pay you a good amount for each referral that made a purchase.

Overall your site offers a good collection of information for a user who is going to be looking for new music.  What would make your site really compelling would be a draw to keep them on your site longer, instead of merely referring them to other sites.

Good work so far.
